For over 40 years, 138 St John’s Road has been the heart of our operations, serving as our traditional ‘Head Office’ and – at one point in time – only office.
In 2003, we expanded by acquiring 142 St John’s Road, and now, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ve secured the shop unit in the middle, 140 St John’s Road, formerly home to Pinkk hairdressing who have relocated to 209 St John’s Road.
Due to high local demand for our property and legal services, expansion has developed naturally in Corstorphine for Neilsons over time.
To maintain high client service levels that Neilsons is known for, the growth has been required – and – in a time where high street presence has diminished from banks and other businesses, we’re proud to continue to provide off-street and accessible services whilst offering clients the best of both worlds when it comes to digital services also.
This marks the start of a transformative renovation project that will bring all three sites together for Neilsons, creating a unified and refreshed look across 138, 140, and 142 St John’s Road with an entirely new shopfront. The refurbishment will include modernised interiors, more private and accessible client meeting spaces, state of the art advertising and enhanced window displays – ensuring a more vibrant and modern space for our clients and community.
⏳ Timeline:
The renovations are set to begin in January and are expected to be complete during spring time.
🚨 Temporary Changes:
Please be assured it’s business as usual for Neilsons. Our phone lines remain the same, staff based at 138-142 St John’s Road have been relocated to other local offices in Corstorphine, and all other offices will be open.
The only change to be aware of, is that from 3rd January until further notice, if you need assistance in Corstorphine, please visit us at our Property Centre at 162 St John’s Road as our offices at 138 – 142 St John’s Road will be closed until further notice for building and renovation works.
